I have never played Mass Effect but I know there were a few who have been requesting something from the series, so i thought I'd give it a shot! I originally wanted to create a scene with a derelict vessel, and ended up with this non-canon Normandy-class frigate fleeing from an unknown and unseen pursuer. The ship is already heavily damaged from a prior engagement.

Despite the fact that I have not played it, I read up on the games back story and listened to the soundtrack for inspiration. :]

Ship started out as line sketch with graphite pencil - Everything else done in Photshop CS5.

I dig sir, I dig. If you ever get the chance, play the game. It's one of the best gaming series in my opinion for getting immersed in the experience. Not quite Metal Gear good, but close in terms of the thematic experience and gameplay.... granted these are two different kinds of games.
